I’ve been busy manically removing parts from the new KLX230 to make it a lean little jungle machine.
And riding it. The first two days on the trails – first impressions:
BUT there is something weird going down with the EFI mapping on this bike. High idle/high revs when you don’t want it, like when you’re trying to go down a steep hill in second gear: you want engine braking and instead you get acceleration. This is going to require further investigation.
